Here's the latest ocarina I've made. I made it a month or two ago at school. It's made from glazed stoneware. I wanted to make something nice and low, and I succeeded. This is the lowest (and heaviest) oc I've ever made. It's tuned somewhere between Eb and E, so with breath adjustment, it can play either key (which is somewhat convenient, yet incredibly annoying at the same time). This time, I decided to put both subholes on the right hand. As you can hear in the recording, the top 2 notes are unusable. The white spots you see on the back are stilt marks; nothing I can do about those, unfortunately.
School's out now, so I won't be able to make clay ocarinas for a while. However, I'll be able to attempt more wood ocs at home. I'm now fairly confident I'll be able to make a wood sweet potato.
